The Story Behind Our Tanzania Geisha Coffee
Processing Method :
Red ripe cherries are selectively harvested by experienced ladies hands sorted out for any under and over ripes before being wet processed to remove the outer red skins, fermented for 36 hours before being washed and dried under the shade nets. Once the parchment coffee is dry after not less than 15 days, dry milling and grading is done and then bagged in food grade jute bags ready for selling to roasters like us.
Tasting Notes :
It is rich and complex, with perfumy deep floral notes. Aromas and flavors of frankincense, candied violet, oolong tea, mulberry, and shiitake in this wonderfully complex cup.
Body and Texture
This Geisha has a sweet-savory balance with a subtle, bright acidity and a luxuriously syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is smooth, integrated, and full of flavor. This washed Tanzania Geisha balances grace and intensity, covering the full sensory spectrum with finesse.
